Dr. Jackie Fairbourn

“I knew with an absolute inner certainty that I would be a chiropractor. I was thoroughly inspired,”
said Dr. Fairbourn, moments after her first meeting with a local chiropractor. “This was the strongest
message I had ever received through my intuition and I am so grateful that I followed it. Not only did
I discover my future passion and career, I learned that we have an inner guidance system that
we can use to find healing and joy in life.”

My Chiropractic Path

Dr. Fairbourn began her pre-medical education at Mount Royal College here in Calgary and at the
University of Victoria.  After completing her study there, she was accepted at Palmer College of
Chiropractic in San Jose, California.

During her four years at Palmer, she found that she had a special interest in Activator Methods, a
low force adjusting technique that is very specific, gentle and effective.

After graduating in 2002, Dr. Fairbourn returned to the Calgary area to establish her chiropractic
practice. She genuinely believes in the principles of alternative healing which is that the body can
heal itself when there is no interference. With this strong belief, Dr. Fairbourn uses a variety of
techniques to thoroughly assess and treat her patients.

Personally

Dr. Fairbourn has two beautiful children, Gracie and Jackson.

When she is not at work she enjoys being outdoors, walking her dog, mountain biking,
snowboarding, cooking and spending time with her kids.
