Hi everyone! Welcome to the Active Back to Health blog. My name is Pauline and I am one of the massage therapists in our office.
I have been a fitness competitor for many years, and I often get asked how I stay looking so young (and fit) as I get older. We can’t stop from aging, but we can look younger and fitter as we age. My best physique was actually last year when I turned 40.
About 6 years ago, I became a fitness enthusiast. I was working out with a personal trainer and at the same time, I became a dedicated and passionate yogi.
About 2 years ago, my personal yoga practice blossomed and took me to the next level to explore and experience India and be trained as a yoga teacher. To challenge my physical body and mind, I went straight to Thailand to train for Muay Thai Kickboxing.

That’s when I decided to join the natural bodybuilding competition. It takes a large amount of discipline and commitment to compete. What people might see is the competitors on stage, but it goes much deeper than that.
The true essence of the sport of natural bodybuilding is an inspiring lifestyle. There are quite a few areas of natural bodybuilding that will help you in every area of your life.

These are just a few ways that I have been able to stay young both physically and mentally. I am always challenging myself and pushing my limits. I would encourage all of you to always challenge yourself to be moving forward with your fitness levels.
